What's the best thing about packraft? When you wake up and the sun comes out after a few days of rain. You just have to decide in a second and in a moment you are on the Lužnice River. And when it's autumn and you have the river to yourself, it's perfect.

Ta situace nastala v říjnu a přestože času nebylo moc, stačila chvíle a už pod Pilařem proudil do lodi vzduch z pumpičky a já se vyvaloval na podzimním slunci.

The Lužnice flowed pleasantly and the rocky stage at 115 km offered a nice rapids. I was kept company by allround packraft Tramp.

Two hours into the trip to Rozvodí I met a fisherman in waders in the middle of the river. No one else. Just me and the autumn sun shining through the colourful leaves.

Amazing.

At Rozvodí it was enough to blow the packraft, throw it on my back and walk back through the woods.

An autumn day, as it should be.
