With kids, packrafting takes on another awesome dimension. Whether you go on an adventure on calm water or on a river, it's always worth it.
Children have problem in packraft with the fact that it is difficult to reach the water through the wider tubes with a kayak paddle.
If they are learning to paddle on calm water, models with narrower 25cm tubes are ideal, i.e. Eddy and Eddy SB kayaks. A ten year old can paddle them just fine.
Smaller children, on the other hand, will have fun on boats like Toronto, where they can paddle like a classic canoe. They can sit on elevated canoe seats or on a side tube like on a raft.
Anyway, with children, packrafting takes on a different dimension. The fun is always taken care of and the naval battle takes turns...
