We set off for Swedish Lapland at the end of August 2025 with the plan to combine two beautiful rivers, Vistasälven and Kaitumläven, into a logical packrafting route. On the national holiday of October 28, 2025, three days before the river was to be closed according to the conditions of the Šumava National Park, water finally came for the first time this year. The water gauge in Rejštejn climbed to 103 cm and just under 25 cubic meters that day. And so we set off. We left one car in Sušice by the swimming pool.
